iOS Keyboard TIP: Hold down the space bar for text selection
Just hold down the space bar for moving the cursor, and for text selection

iPhone/iPad TIP: Do Not Disturb
You can set DND to be for e.g. an hour or Until you leave a location, or Until the end of this event etc from Control Centre (slide down from top right on new devices)

 

iPad TIP: Convert printed table to Excel
To convert a printed (or onscreen) table into Excel data:
    Open Excel on your iPad (free app)
    Tap Insert > Data from Picture
    Take your picture & change the outline of the data if necessary
    Tap Done
    Tap Insert once the Processing has finished
    Review if prompted
    Enjoy a break with the time you've saved

To see a pretty fascinating timelapse of your area thanks to Google Earth, go to https://earthengine.google.com/timelapse/
It shows an animation of the changes from 1984 to 2016. Use the Search box top left, and then Zoom in/out. Play/Pause is bottom left.

 

Image TIP: remove background
If you want to quickly remove a background image from a people photo, use https://www.remove.bg/ for free. Just select your image and give it a few seconds.
