Q & A with Rozina Gardner of Harcourts Cooper & Co

IW: What would you do during a typical day?

ROZINA: I organise my schedule each night for the next day so that I can prep anything I may need. I start emails and calls in the morning to arrange viewings and book appointments for buyers. I usually have appraisals/vendor meetings/prospecting/ and training in between everything else.

IW: How did you get into this industry?

ROZINA: I’ve had an obsession for houses from a very young age, as my mum used to buy, renovate and sell properties for as long as I can remember.  At the age of 17 I made the decision to join Real Estate as I understood how important having a home means to us.

IW: What do you enjoy most about your job?

ROZINA: Having clients who trust me means everything to me! I enjoy building long-lasting relationships because I believe that's what makes a business succeed.  And of course, the joy of being able to help someone move on with their life, or move in to start their new life.

IW: What is the most challenging part of your job?

ROZINA: Every day is unpredictable, and you get thrown many obstacles along the way but it’s what keeps me excited!

IW: What advice would you give others that are looking to move into this industry?

ROZINA: Dedication, passion, and always having a positive outlook no matter the situation, is what will make you succeed in this industry.
