Alexia Hilbertidou

Described by the NZ Herald as the Headmistress of Gen Z, Alexia will captivate your audience with insights from her leadership journey as the founder of GirlBoss NZ - the school project which has become NZ's largest organisation for young women. GirlBoss has 13,500 members and programmes have been implemented in 100 schools across New Zealand, Australia and the Cook Islands.

Alexia’s own mission is to get women to the table - the boardroom table that is, and she believes the decisions made while young are crucial in paving the way.

Alexia is a professional speaker who has spoken at over 150 corporate and community events to over 80,000 people about Gender Equality, Gen Z Mindset, Women in STEM, and the future of work. She has spoken at some of the world's largest conferences such as The United Nation's Commission on the Status of Women and One Young World, sharing stages with speakers such as Richard Branson, HRH Meghan Markle, and JK Rowling.

Alexia has received over 30 Awards for her work including being named the 2019 Prime Minister’s Pacific Youth Award Winner (Alexia is Greek / Samoan), Finalist for 2020 World Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Forbes 30 under 30 2021, Pacific Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Semi-Finalist for Young New Zealander of the Year, and the Most Influential NZ Woman under 25 at the Westpac Women of Influence Awards.

Alexia was awarded a Queen's Young Leader Award for Services to the Commonwealth by Her Majesty, The Queen at Buckingham Palace. She was selected from over 20,000 nominations and is the youngest Commonwealth Citizen to hold this honour.

Through her jaw dropping, name dropping stories Alexia proves that you are never too young (or too short) to create change.
